Project NUTROD

The removal of this head went much smoother then 4-6.  The bolts on the 4-6 head were torqued extremely tight.  In fact, I destroyed three Torx sockets and two head bolts in the process of removal.  Not a very impressive demonstration of a skill.  In contrast, this head (1-3) came off much more agreeably.  However, right away, I could see that someone had been in here before.  Although there were six links between the Cam marks, the silver links were off.  The chain rails had date stamps from 2003, and in general, there was much more apparent wear then I expected to see.  I should have looked to see if I could find a date stamp on the head gasket but I forgot before disposing of it..
